HI GEAR Diesel DEFROSTER 946ml. The Hi-Gear HG4114 diesel defroster is designed to improve the performance of diesel fuel at low temperatures and dissolve the formed paraffin and ice crystals in the fuel system. Diesel fuel contains significant amounts of paraffinic hydrocarbons, which, as the fuel cools, crystallize and precipitate into a solid phase that is visible even to the naked eye.  

The onset of crystallization is the turbidity of the fuel, which is divided into two phases: the upper (light) and the lower (turbid), paraffin-enriched. The crystals then grow and form a spatial structure of a certain size and concentration. As a result, the fuel loses its mobility and is poorly pumped through the filters, which interferes with the normal operation of the diesel engine until it comes to a complete stop. The Hi-Gear HG4114 defroster is compatible with all types of diesel fuel

The defrost allows the frozen fuel wax crystals to melt in the filter and helps to improve the low temperature properties of the tank fuel. Application:  

Disconnect and disassemble the coarse and fine filters; remove frozen fuel from them.  

Add a 1: 1 mixture of diesel fuel to the filter.  

Replace the filter.  

Then connect the defrost to the fuel tank in a ratio of 1 defrost part and 200 diesel parts.  

Wait 15-20 minutes. until the solidified diesel dissolves and starts the engine.  

This package is designed for 200 liters of diesel fuel.
